Intermediate I
ACC 3313
In Intermediate I, we’ll cover a variety of financial accounting concepts and standards, focusing on corporate financial statements and elements of the balance sheet. Topics include:
- cash and receivables
- inventory measurement and other issues
- PPE and intangibles
- current liabilities and contingencies
- bonds and long-term notes
- shareholder’s equity
My teaching philosophy focuses on in-class activities and practical application. Students will read the textbook and receive useful study tools that they can use to learn the material outside of the classroom, and in class, we’ll work through the kinks and practice lots of problems.
I’ll be teaching ACC 3313 for the first time in the fall of 2024, and I’m looking forward to the challenge.
